So my mother-in-law from Pennsylvania parked in a 3 hr parking zone. When she returned to her vehicle 15 minutes later she saw she had a parking ticket! So I don't know how officer Walker could justifiably give her a $75 parking ticket for doing absolutely nothing wrong. But because she lives out of state she's not going to be able to fight it. so your department got a free $75. Glad to see that targeting people is what your department is about

Horrible horrible walk in service. I've been trying to get a two page report for over a week and the person manning the office just leaves or never shows up for work. Pointless to have the service.
On Tuesday, February 14, 2017 I placed a called to the Westerly Police Station asking to speak to an officer about a very concerning matter. It was regarding harassing phone calls from numbers from outside of the United States and locations here in Rhode Island. The dispatcher was very helpful and concerned. He than asked if I would like to have an officer sent to my location to place a report. I am very appreciative of how the Westerly Police Department handle the service call.

I needed to do a vin check for my customer. They were very rude from the get go. My call may not be important to them, but there's no reason to treat me like im a criminal and hang the phone up on me when I still had more questions. The officer who picked the phone up treated me as though I was an idiot and used a tone as though I was bothering him, he said what he had to say and hung the phone up even though I still had unanswered questions. No thank you or good bye, just a dial tone. It is unfortunate that they have the privilege of treating people so poorly and get away with it, because I'm sure if I treated him the same way he treated me, I would be punished. I would highly recommend using another department if you have a choice. The worst part is I just needed a vin check, I can't imagine how they treat their citizens with bigger issues.
